Tropical Forest Foundation
With a view to saving our last tropical forest areas in Thailand, we, the private sector, are dedicated to protecting and maintaining our forest and the wildlife therein. Regardless of our individual interests and pursuits, we all use the precious water that also sustains our forests. Thus, starting from a small group of people engaged in the textile business, we established on the 23rd of July, the "TROPICAL FOREST FOUNDATION", with the aim of promoting and developing the concept of forest protection.

"To support tropical forest and wildlife protection for the benefit of all mankind"
Strategies
- To be initiators in fund raising efforts among the private sector, to further the goals of the foundation.
- To support reforestation and protection of forest areas in Thailand.
- To encourage relocation of the forest dwelling communities outside the protected areas.
- To launch a public awareness campaign in supporting of forest and wildlife conservation.
- To oppose the commercial exploitation of protected forest areas, such as wildlife sanctuaries and national parks.
